Jeffrey Yordon, Chief Executive OfficerJeffrey Yordon, founder of Sagent Pharmaceuticals, brings more than 35 years of injectables experience to the company. This experience was gained by a career path that included senior level executive positions with a wide variety of pharmaceutical companies and culminated with his being an original founding member of Gensia Laboratories, LyphoMed, and American Pharmaceutical Partners (APP), now called Abraxis Pharmaceutical Products. Most recently, while at APP, he held the positions of Chief Strategic Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President. All three of these companies had extraordinary growth during Mr. Yordon’s tenure and each attained major milestones that are noteworthy: LyphoMed was sold to Fujisawa for $1 billion, Gensia Laboratories was sold to Teva Pharmaceuticals for $3.4 billion, and APP attained a market cap in excess of $6 billion. Mr. Yordon has been member of the Board of Directors of APP, Pharmaceutical Partners of Canada, and Drug Source Company, as well as a board member of the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT). His loyalty to his alma mater, Northern Illinois University, is evident by his membership on the university’s Foundation Board and Board of Directors of the Northern Illinois Executive Club, and his being an Alumni Advisor to NIU’s Athletic Department. Mr. Yordon received his BA degree from Northern Illinois University. Ronald Pauli, Chief Financial OfficerRon Pauli has more than 20 years of corporate financial experience with major corporations across the US. After gaining his public accounting experience with Ernst & Whinney in Winston-Salem, NC, Ron spent 11 years at Kmart Corporation in the positions of Assistant Controller, Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Director of Investor Relations. Following Kmart he held the position of Corporate Controller at the pharmaceutical drug delivery company R.P. Scherer Corporation and at Applied Power, Inc., followed by his being named Vice President, Controller and then CFO of ERSCO Corporation, a Midwest distributor / fabricator of construction products and materials. For the next four years Ron played key financial roles at Abraxis BioScience, Inc., formerly American Pharmaceutical Partners, where he served as Corporate Controller and finally as Interim CFO. Immediately prior to joining Sagent in 2007, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the biotech firm NEOPHARM, Inc. Ron served as a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS in accounting from Michigan State University and an MS in finance from Walsh College. |
